The Engineering department has got ICARO application, a management system in continuous developing process. It aim at the global management of road network.
One of the most valuable tools of ÍCARO application is the cartography typical of GIS, that allows a quick and easy representation, through topics, of any elements or/and characteristics of the road.

PAVEMENT EXPERT MANAGEMENT
Once the quality level is determined, it´s possible to obtain conservation as well as auscultation action plans adapted to the technical needs of the organization exploiting a network. These needs which are based on auscultation parameters evolution can be subsequently adapted to the annual available budget.
