The Engineering department has got ICARO application, a management system in continuous developing process. It aim at the global management of road network.
One of the most valuable tools of ÍCARO application is the cartography typical of GIS, that allows a quick and easy representation, through topics, of any elements or/and characteristics of the road.

With all the information related to accidents, ÍCARO gives the possibility to automatically obtain black spots, Risk and Mortality index so as to analyze road security.
