The Engineering department has got ICARO application, a management system in continuous developing process. It aim at the global management of road network.
One of the most valuable tools of ÍCARO application is the cartography typical of GIS, that allows a quick and easy representation, through topics, of any elements or/and characteristics of the road.

In total, RAUROS has several pavement management systems in more than 47.000 kilometers in different road networks of the world.

DIVISION INTO STRETCHES
It provides tools to divide the road into homogeneous stretches. Each one of them will be characterized by statistical values so as that the current and future situation can be analyzed.
